Annual Parish Council Awards

Thurlaston Parish Council would like to invite you to submit nominations for either one or both of the following two awards.

The Environmental Award is presented to the person/organisation who has done most to improve the appearance or understanding of the local environment.

The Silver Jubilee Award is presented to the person/organisation judged to have made the most noteworthy contribution to life in our parish.

Voting forms and ballot box are available in Hill View Garden Nursery (by kind permission of Mr & Mrs Watkinson). Forms are also available from the Clerk and the link below. Nominations can be submitted via email, telephone or post (FAO PC Clerk, 470 Coventry Rd, Hinckley, Leics LE10 0NH / 01455 613079)

The decision over whether and to whom the cups should be presented remains with the Parish Council. However, so far as practical, councillors want to reflect the views of the villagers. If you know of an unsung hero, please let us have their name along with your reasons for choosing them.
