WATCH YOUR DOG

The Parish Council are disappointed to note that there has been an increase in dog fouling within the Parish, particularly on the Recreation Ground. It is extremely disappointing as this is a lovely area for children to play and not only is the excrement very unpleasant, but it is also a health risk!
Anyone caught not clearing up after their dog could be prosecuted and receive a fine of up to £1000.
We do appreciate that the vast majority of dog-owners are sensible. However a few irresponsible folk allow their pets to foul the roadway, pavement or - worst of all - the Recreation Ground.
If you're in charge of a dog, use the dog bins provided and make sure your pet remains a good parish citizen.
Thank you.

MOAT CLOSE ENTRANCE TO RECREATION GROUND

The Moat Close entrance to the Recreation Ground has recently been improved. The old entrance had badly deteriorated therefore it was decided to replace it with a slightly wider version, which will make it more accessable for buggies, prams and wheelchairs.
The area surrounding the entrance has now been covered in tarmac to make it more usable throughout the wet weather.
